Whether you want an extra push to meet your goals, lose weight or just feel fitter Personal Training is the most focused way to achieve your goals. It can get you there faster, safer and be more enjoyable and you'll soon see that it helps you adjust your lifestyle to make those physical changes stick.
If you're a beginner it's a great introduction to the gym and it will soon boost your knowledge and confidence. For the more experienced gym user, a personal training session will help take you to a higher level of fitness. You'll see the physical results quicker when you’re working out with your trainer and this will help motivate you to stick with it.
The training sessions are exclusively run by our YMCA Level Advanced Instructors which is the highest recognised qualification in the fitness industry. Our team members are knowledgeable in all aspects of health and fitness, with particular areas including nutrition, advanced methods of training, youth training, nutrition and medical conditions.
Before the sessions commence we need to gather as much information as possible from you so we complete a pack where we will determine your activity background, identify goals, increase motivation, limit barriers to success and complete a fitness test to help us monitor your progress every step of the way.
After the initial consultation we will then contemplate programme design suited to your goals and come up with a plan of action to counter any potential barriers. After this we will commence with the sessions fully supervised by a personal trainer where they will lead you through every step of your programme and motivate you all the way.
We are including two sessions of personal training per month to every daytime and unlimited member so you really have no excuse!
